Take a seat at the potting bench, spend an afternoon learning how to create Japanese Kokedama, how to strike a cutting or make a succulent bowl or terrarium. Kokedama:

We will teach you the art of making beautiful planted moss balls and how to care for them. You’ll choose the plants for your 2 Kokedama, all materials will be provided as well as afternoon tea and drinks.

 

 

Propagation:

Plants for free! Learn propagation techniques that you can easily do at home, expanding your indoor jungle to great heights without great expense. Nurturing a tiny cutting and watching it grow roots developing into an established plant you can pot up one day is super satisfying. There are multiple ways to propagate and grow cuttings into plants, and at our workshop, we'll cover a number of the class propagation methods. We'll lead you through all the steps to make sure that you have the skills you need to propagate successfully. You will be provided with afternoon tea and 3 plant cuttings to take home for you to grow on.

 

 

Succulent bowl workshop :

Here at Babylon store we are known for our lovely succulent bowls. Spend a few hours with us at the potting bench making your own succulent bowl. Workshop includes afternoon tea, soil etc and $40 credit to spend in store on your choice of succulents or vessels. You’re welcome to bring in any plants and pots from home that you’d like to plant up.

Terrarium :

Terrariums create their own little eco-systems and are truly a miniature landscape to liven up your interior. A wonderful way to spotlight a collection of smaller plants so you can really see and appreciate them. Spend a few hours with us at the potting bench making your own living world. Workshop includes morning or afternoon tea, soil etc and $40 credit to spend in store on your choice of plants or vessels. You’re welcome to bring in any plants and pots from home that you’d like to use.

Houseplant care :

Houseplant care class will cover what you need to know about repotting, maintenance, fertilising, light, humidity, watering - including how to water when you are going away, bug control, and identifying common house plant pests under the microscope.
