French artist virginiejg (based in Auckland) composes images to create unique artistic, emotional and narrative experiences for the viewer, approaching her art with childlike inquisitiveness balanced with the hand of an old soul.
Her work reaches out to others with a deep and intimate observation of textures, shapes, colours and forms, melding moments of hope, despair and wonder.
As some of her photographs naturally melt like abstract paintings, painting is another medium she loves to explore and lately she's been designing jewellery made of wood, silver and copper with an organic approach.
