Sara Santoro is the founder and maker behind Loom Studio, creating naturally dyed and handwoven textiles from her garden studio in Hawke's Bay.
Working with New Zealand wool, raw European flax linen, and plant-based dyes grown or foraged locally, her pieces reflect a deep connection to colour, landscape, and sustainable making.
With a background in Communication Design and Landscape Design, Sara’s process is intuitive and experimental, embracing the organic nature of weaving and botanical dyeing. Each textile is designed to be both beautiful and functional, celebrating craftsmanship and perfectly imperfect details.
