Unique lamps made from waste.
Cam Barrett is a passionate 3D artist with a long-standing dream of designing lamps and light shades inspired by natural forms. Concerned about the environmental impact of adding more unnecessary products to our planet, Cam hesitated to bring his ideas to life until discovering sustainable printing techniques.
Now, he is excited to bring these designs to fruition without using plastics made from crude oil, and helping to reduce plastics that end up in landfill. The materials he uses are sourced from a local company that produces PLA filament from recycled plastics and post-industrial food packaging waste.
Each piece is designed, printed, and hand-assembled in his solar-powered home studio, with a production time of approximately 7 hours.
